"All you need to know in your pocket" is the theme for Celina ISD's mobile app, which is latest tool to keep all parents connected to their students' schools. "With this mobile app our parents can receive push notifications along with a streamlined event calendar and so much more," Karen Fitzgerald, district communications officer, said.

"This app has been in the development process since July," Dr. Tom Maglisceau, superintendent said. "Our district recognizes the need for effective and swift communication to our parents. This is just one more way for our parents  to remain connected to their students' schools as much as possible. We are excited that this app has finally arrived."

As part of the district's culture on fostering innovation, community and stewardship, this mobile app reflects the principles of the district. Beginning on Monday, January 9, parents can download the app from their prefered app store and then customize their preferences.
