On Monday, September 26, 2019, the Celina School Board of Trustees unanimously approved the GMP for the Celina Elementary School Addition and the Celina High School Athletic Complex Phase II. Motion was made by Brooks Barr and seconded by Choc Christopher. The renovations and additions approved for the Celina Elementary School Campus are as follows:

7 classrooms
2 STEM classrooms
Collaborative spaces
Work spaces for Teachers and Staff
Individualized Testing Areas
New flooring
LED Light conversion
Bathrooms to be located in gymnasium area
Office area restructured
PLC and Work conversions
New Teacher parking area
Outdoor basketball area with slab
Playground equipment to include all weather surface
Bus and Parent Drop-off covered areas
New roofing system
Replace HVAC units as necessary
