CISD to Announce New Athletic Director

Celina ISD is proud to announce Brent Whitson as our new Athletic Director.

With decades of leadership experience across Texas and Oklahoma — including serving as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Denison High School — Coach Whitson will be formally presented at the February 23 Board Meeting and officially begins March 23.

“Celina Athletics has built, for generations, a championship tradition that deserves to be honored,” said Superintendent Tom Maglisceau. “Brent has demonstrated his ability to support and inspire the strengths of his coaches and his programs, and he will work tirelessly with our athletes, coaches, parents and teachers to lead Celina Athletics to continued success through the next chapter of our great story.”
