College Career and Military Ready
College Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) is about preparing students for life after graduation. It is made up of curriculum, resources, programs and activities that help students have the tools they need to enter college or the workforce and begin a career. CCMR is integrated into the everyday culture of our district and is supported by state guidelines, partnerships with higher education organizations and businesses.
School counselors are available to answer questions and to help students get a jump start preparing for life after graduation.
College Ready
Texas Education Agency considers a student College Ready when they meet any one of the following criteria:

Qualifying scores on the SAT, ACT, or TSIA test

Receive a 3 or higher on at least one Advanced Placement (AP) exam

Successfully complete an OnRamps Course
-
Earn 3 hours in Dual Credit English/Math or 9 hours in other Dual Credit courses

Earn an Associates Degree

Career Ready
Career Ready indicators set by the Texas Education Agency include meeting any one of the following criteria:

Earn an Industry-Based Certification

Complete a Program of Study in CTE

Military Ready
Per the Texas Education Agency, a student is Military Ready if they enlist in a branch of the Armed Forces and score a qualifying score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Test.
