Honors Courses
Celina ISD Honors courses offer extended and enriched learning experiences in the area of study. These courses are designed to prepare students for the challenge of Advance Placement (AP) courses or other advanced academic opportunities.
Advanced Placement Courses
Advanced Placement (AP) Courses provide the opportunity for students to gain college credit by earning qualifying scores (typically 3 or higher) on Advanced Placement (AP) exams administered in May of each school year. AP exam fees apply. Check with prospective colleges to verify acceptance of AP scores.
Dual Credit Courses
Celina ISD dual credit courses are offered in partnership with Collin College. These courses provide the opportunity for students to gain college credit during their high school career. Students must take/meet TSI Assessment requirements prior to enrollment. Tuition fees apply. To earn college credit, students must pass the course with a D or higher.
