Margie Moore Vasquez Elementary School

Celina ISD is excited to open Vasquez Elementary School, a brand-new, state-of-the-art campus located in the Parks of Wilson Creek neighborhood. This 101,271-square-foot, two-story school is designed to inspire learning, creativity, and collaboration for our Bobcat students.

Inside, families will find a wide range of learning spaces, including:

• Bright, modern classrooms

• Art rooms and two fully equipped science labs

• A life skills classroom

• A media center/library and collaborative spaces

• A kitchen, cafeteria, band room, and full-size gymnasium

For safety and peace of mind, the campus features secured entry vestibules, a storm shelter that doubles as a gymnasium with standalone utilities, and internal and external security cameras.

The exterior design blends masonry and stone finishes with a durable PVC roofing system, ensuring a safe and long-lasting facility.

We look forward to opening the doors of Vasquez Elementary in August 2025 and continuing our tradition of excellence in Celina ISD!

Opening Fall 2026

Willard Middle School

Celina ISD is excited to announce the opening of a brand-new 212,002-square-foot middle school located at 1305 Old Glendenning, near the Cross Creek neighborhood. This three-story campus is designed to provide students with modern learning spaces, advanced fine arts facilities, and state-of-the-art athletics areas.

Inside the school, students will enjoy:

• Bright, flexible classrooms and collaborative learning spaces

• Art rooms and a full media/library center

• Multiple science labs and a life skills classroom

• Band, orchestra, and choir halls

• A competition gym, auxiliary gym, weight room, and locker rooms

The building also includes a storm shelter that doubles as locker rooms with standalone utilities, providing safety and peace of mind for students and staff.

Campus features include:

• Masonry, stone, and EIFS exterior design with a durable 80Mil PVC roof

• Secured entry vestibules and internal/external security cameras

• Four lighted tennis courts

• A track and turf football field with bleachers and a concession building

This new middle school will officially open for the 2026 school year and will serve as another cornerstone of innovation, safety, and opportunity in Celina ISD.

Celina High School Renovations & Additions

Celina ISD is proud to expand and enhance Celina High School, a 232,109-square-foot campus located at 3455 N. Preston Road on the north end of town. This project includes both a major three-story addition and renovations to the existing two-story high school, creating new opportunities for Bobcat students to learn, create, and thrive.

Renovations bring updated spaces such as counseling and administrative suites, theater technology areas, costume and makeup rooms, life skills classrooms, and modernized locker rooms.

The new three-story addition adds dynamic facilities, including:

• A gymnasium and weight room

• Career & Technical Education (CTE) shops and an agricultural barn

• Band and orchestra halls

• A black box theater

• Specialized labs and studios for animal science, floral design, culinary arts, fashion design, AV broadcast, esports, and forensics

• A student café

• Multiple new science labs and classrooms

The updated design features a masonry and stone exterior with a durable PVC roofing system, while safety remains a top priority with secured entry vestibules, card access control, and internal/external security cameras.

Opening Timeline:

• Fall 2025 – Ag barn, CTE shops, black box theater, orchestra hall, gym, weight room, locker rooms, administrative and counseling suites, and theater costume/makeup areas

• Fall 2026 – Band hall, animal science, floral lab, culinary arts, esports, fashion design studio, café, AV broadcast studio, forensics lab, and additional science labs/classrooms
