The district continually monitors conditions that could potentially disrupt our normal operation procedures. In the event that severe weather necessitates the closing of our district buildings, the district will make every effort to notify parents/guardians of any unexpected delays and/or closures as quickly as possible through the following communication venues:

• CELINA ISD WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA: A notice of delay or closure will be posted to our district website at https://www.celinaisd.com/,to the district's social media page, https://www.facebook.com/celinaisdtx, and on Twitter at Celina ISD (@CelinaISD).

• NEW MEDIA OUTLETS: The district will also utilize local television and radio stations to report delays and/or closures to include but not limited to, FOX4, WFAA 8, NBC 5, KTVT/Channel 11, KXII/Channel 12, 94.9 FM/KLTY, KRLD-AM, and 98.7 KLUV.

To submit your flyer for district approval, review our Flyer Approval Guidelines and follow the steps below. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.

Written or printed materials, handbills, photographs, pictures, films, tapes, or other visual or auditory materials not sponsored by the District or by a District-affiliated school-support organization shall not be sold, circulated, distributed, or posted on any District premises by any District employee or by persons or groups not associated with the District, except in accordance with this policy.
