Brooks Barr

Barr relocates to neighboring community prompting resignation

During the Board of Trustees meeting, Board member Books Barr submitted his resignation, effective immediately. Brooks has recently relocated to a new home outside Celina school boundaries. Brooks serves in Place 4 and has served on the Board for more than 11 years. His term expires in May 2023.

“You will be greatly missed,” Kelly Juergens, Board President, said. “You have done incredible work on behalf of our district and our students.”

“I have loved serving on this Board and even though I live eight minutes from here, Celina will forever and always be my home,” Brooks said. “I bleed orange and will continuing supporting our schools. Our district has always been about faith and community, which is the reason why we made Celina our home for our children.”
