Celina FCCLA joined 4,320 members around Texas last weekend for the State Leadership Conference held in Dallas, TX. CHS Junior Sierra Smith was named VP of Projects, which is the FIRST EVER State FCCLA Officer to come from Celina High School. CHS Seniors Hailey Buller and Parker Ward earned 3rd place in Entrepreneurship. This award includes a $1,000 scholarship to Johnson and Wales University. Celina FCCLA members not advancing, but still awaiting score levels include; Summer Hendricks, Kaylea Hastings, Logan Sandidge, Michaela Reeves, and Kelsey Tombaugh. These projects could still include gold, silver, or bronze level scores! 

Outstanding Chapter Award-Silver was Awarded to Celina High School! This award takes into consideration CHS membership, community service activities, competition levels, and adviser involvement with FCCLA. State Officer Sierra Smith and National FCCLA Consultant/Chapter Advisor Heather Hussong are expected to represent Celina at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California this summer. Awards and project overviews will be on display during Springfest on May 11th at Celina High School.
