The Celina ISD Police Department is committed to the safety of our students, staff and guests. Our mission is to support the District's overall Mission Statement by providing a safe and secure learning and teaching environment for all staff and students. This will be accomplished by using "Best Practices for Emergency Operations" as directed by FEMA, Homeland Security, the State of Texas, as well as interaction with state and local public safety authorities.

Chief Bobby Manson

Chief Bobby Manson has served Celina ISD for 10 years and is currently assigned to all campuses. Manson is a certified School Based Law Enforcement Officer and Mental Health Officer. He is also trained in FEMA “Multihazard Emergency Planning for Schools”, Advanced Child Abuse Investigation, ALERRT “Active Shooter Events and Response”, and QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Program. Manson has completed the Texas Police Chief Leadership Series training as required by TCOLE.

In addition to his position as Chief of Police, Manson has responsibility to ensure that the district is in compliance with Texas School Safety Center audits, conducting campus safety drills as recommended by the state, and operation of the district’s security surveillance and radio systems.
